Just an event name I came up with. Since Keats alludes to wine in the poem I tweaked it from Wine Tasting. :) Delighted to have you joining, Caroline!
Just realised the dates are just before my final exams :( I may not be able to participate in the later ones.

Oh, that's very tempting! Hm...

I'd like to participate. I've never done anything like this before, left alone a scheduled one. But I'd be happy to try. Besides, I like Keats' poems.

Count me in! I've been waiting for a chance to explore Keats a little and this sounds like fun. Thanks for hosting, Katherine!

Oooooo That is right when summer school starts for me! But I would LOVE to see discussion on Keats's Nightingale and Tolkien's Lay of Luthien. Seems clear one inspired the other! Note: Keats calls his Nightingale an Elf:

"But as she went he swiftly came
and called her by the tender name 800
of nightingales in Elvish tongue,
that all the woods now sudden rung:
”Tinúviel! Tinúviel!”
And clear his voice was as a bell;
its echoes wove a binding spell: 805
”Tinúviel! Tinúviel!”"

I will try but I am traveling on business that week and will be pretty tied up all week.

What a great idea, though. Love Keats and Nightgale is my favorite poem ever.
